Some photography.

Started playing around with my new lighting set up the other day and thought I'd put it to full use photographing some of my collection. There's no particular theme really, just took pictures of the figures I felt inclined to photograph. Hope you enjoy them!
(btw theres quite a lot of pictures, don't forget to click the "read more" below the first picture)

Hot Toys Abigail Whistler (Jessica Beil)

Hot Toys Sgt Barnes - Platoon.

Sgt Barnes as played by Tom Berenger in the 1986 Vietnam war film Platoon.

Well What can I say? I love this figure, and I have to admit I'm on a bit of a Nam binge atm, having recently re-watched Platoon and then finally getting around to watching Apocalypse Now (yes for the first time) I do like a bit of Nam n explosions. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Some recent purchases

Been busy of late but had chance to take some pictures the other day. Thought I'd post some pics.

The amazing War Machine from Hot Toys, as seen in the movie Iron Man 2.
Click the pictures to enlarge em ;)

Also been playing around with Soldier Stories SAD ver 2 night ops figures.

And finally a little pic I took of Hot Toys Whiplash, as seen in the movie Iron Man 2.

Neca Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Thought I'd upload some pictures of the superb Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures that I bought recently.

I missed out on these at the time when they were released, but always planned to get them at some point.

Hot Toys Facebook lucky draw

Got some really cool news from Emily Leung at Hot Toys today, I was one of the lucky ten that won the prize draw that took place on Facebook! The draw took place to celebrate Hot Toys reaching 10'000 fans on Facebook :) Well done Hot Toys and thanks for constantly raising the bar for 1/6 scale models!

Figma Drossel

Bit of a random one today, finally got around to snapping some pictures of the really cool Figma Drossel. I have to say this is one great figure. Well worth the purchase even if you don't know what Drossel is. (It's a Japanese Disney/anime) Figma's are a little smaller in scale than I'm used to, measuring just under 5 inches, but buying them from time to time makes a nice break from all those hefty 1/6 purchases.
